The HEALTHY YOU checklist
What’s that one thing that needs to be done throughout your
entire day? Your to-do list! Yes, to-list or call it your checklist needs to be completed before the day comes to an end.
To-do list is a versatile list that includes your
grocery shopping, your maintenance works, your bills and the list goes on. However, do
you have your health checklist? If not, then its high-time that you have one.
This one checklist throughout the day will keep you healthy and a good habit
will develop automatically. Since, habits cannot be developed in day or so or
can’t be enforced on oneself. Habits are actions that needs to be practiced over a period of time
in order to become a habit.
So, let’s start with what needs to be present in your
HEALTHY YOU checklist for a HEALTHIER YOU.
1. Keep your calories and protein in check.
Your calories shouldn’t be less or
more than it should be. For instance, if you’re following a 1600kcal diet then
stick to it. Keep in check of your calories and make sure to consume right
amount of proteins.
2. Plenty of water
Water is the most essential part
of your healthy lifestyle. As a female, make sure you consume about 2 liters to
2.7 liters and as a male, you must try to consume about 2.5 liters to 3.7
liters. Water intake varies from person to person depending up on a few factors
such as environment, physical activity and individual’s height and weight.

3. Enough sleep
Yes, sleep is very important for a
healthy lifestyle. Without sleep, you are likely to gain weight.
4. Stay Active
Sitting all day will slow down your
metabolism. Hence, it is recommended that you stay active. If your work
requires lots of sitting, then try to stand up in between and walk around in
every 15 minutes. Have green tea or a cup of black coffee.
5. Ample amount of whole foods
Whole foods are a must for you but
you can be flexible in your diet once in a while like on a Saturday night.
6. Walk/Run
Besides being active, you need to
burn your calories. Do exercise or walk or run or jogging, whatever suits you
right but walk at least for minutes straight.
7. Smile and avoid stress
Stay away from stress as much as
you can. Stress can make you fat!! So smile more and surround yourself with
positive people.
8. Implement all of this in your daily life
Lastly, implement all this points in your life
and you are going to see the affects very soon. ;)
