So, back to the topic. Apart from fiber, bananas contain potassium. Potassium is your ally in the war against sodium retention. Also, it helps to decreases your blood pressure.

It has huge amounts of omega-3 fatty acids. The good fat. I repeat, this is the good fat that your body needs. It causes blood to move to your muscles and fat transported to where it can be used up for energy purposes. This causes your body to burn fat and give a boost to your metabolism.
