Now in the present world, we tend to avoid carbs. It is like as if we are actually build this way to avoid carbs at all cost that includes: pizza, pastas, and breads. 


Well, truth to be told, carbs are essential in our diets. By cutting them down, we are being unfair to ourselves. 


So, before you all completely eliminate your carbs from your diet, give a read below as to why carbs are vital to our being.


  • Source of energy
Yes, carbs provide us with energy our body needs. This energy is used not only for our daily physical activities and exercise but, also for our body needs such as breathing, heart-beat and what not. 

When you eliminate carbs from your diet, your body will not have enough glucose and you will be in a state of fatigue. Hence, making your exercise tough for you. 

Therefore, make sure you have enough carbs before and after a workout routine. Adding up your proteins will be a good idea since they will aid in muscle repair and recovery.


  • Bad Breath
When you eliminate carbs, your fats are being used up instead to provide you with enough energy to carry out your routine work. 





However, when your fat is being used, it undergoes ketosis process that produces ketones that have a foul smell. This smell cannot be disguised by the tooth paste even.


  • Fiber
The main source of fiber is well carbs. So, when you don’t have enough fiber, you are going to face the consequences of that. Bowel irregularities and belly bloat are one of them. 


  • Bad mood
So when you’re low on glucose, your happy hormones are not going to be activated. The reason being that carbs produce the hormone serotonin that makes you feel happy.  

Hence, you’re not going to be a good company for people around you.


  • Losing focus
Since brain need glucose to function properly when it won’t be getting enough you are going to experience loss of alertness and focus.

It is true that you can lose weight by cutting down your carbs but you need to be careful of that. Cutting down too much of carbs at a time can be harmful for your own sake. 

Therefore, you need to cut them down slowly according to your body needs and be aware that eliminating them will only have bad consequences.
