How you can outsmart overeating during holidays


Holidays are the time to be with your family, appreciate the life you’re living, resting and enjoying every bit of it but make sure you don’t consume calories more than that you need. Here is some few times how you can outsmart overeating during your holidays.




1-      Appetizers

Starting with the easiest of them all. Starters or your appetizers are the one where you need to go easy. They can be high caloric. Try to cut them down.

2-      The Food Pusher

Everyone has a food pusher in their life. Be it your friends or relatives. Decline extra food offered to you. Stick to your caloric plan. You don’t want to gain extra weight during your holiday season.

3-      Seasonal Favorites

Instead of spending your days eating your favorite food on casual or working days, save them for a holiday or occasions where you can actually enjoy them.

4-      Starting Smart

If you first eat right, you have chances of consuming less high caloric food. For instance, have more protein or fiber or even both to help you feel satiety. This way, you will go easy on the high caloric food.

5-      Food Free Activity

All our parties and get together are around food. Change that. Be it other activities. Games and what not.
