The Best Time To Exercise
Exercise is an activity that is performed to maintain or enhance physical fitness and health. With tons of researches taking place in
the world to determine the right time for doing exercise, it is actually a
person's self-personal choice of time. How is that possible? Keep on reading to
know.
Mornings
Some would argue that morning is the best time to kill the
extra calories by doing your workout on an empty stomach. However, it maybe be
the best for some and the worst time for some, depending on certain factors.
First of all, if you are not a morning person, it is not
going to work for you at all. Why? The reason being you have to wake up against
your normal time of your body clock. Probably, with low motivation. You can do it once, or a week
or maybe for a month. But then, you will skip it.
Next reason why is that you are low on energy if you are working
out on an empty stomach. Hence, a low intensity workout. In addition to that,
you might not just be burning those extra fats but, also your proteins. It is
simple, your body needs energy or say fuel to break the extra fat and when
there isn’t enough fuel, it will start gaining the fuel from your stored
glycogen in the muscles.
In a nutshell, don’t work out on an empty stomach. Have a
healthy breakfast first instead. Your body needs that for exercise or to do
simple tasks. If you’re a morning person than why not exercise in the morning.
However, make sure there is a good 2-hour gap between your breakfast and
workout. Why? It is because your body needs to digest the food and provide you
with energy required to perform an intense workout.
Evenings
Now, some may argue that evening is the best time to work out.
The logic behind is that your body’s temperature increases throughout the day
and your likely to do a good intense workout. Again, time or your body’s
temperature does not make a difference. Your nourishment does. If you don’t
have the right nourishment, then you are unlikely to do
an intense workout.
Dinner
Some would argue that you are likely to lose you sleep if
you work out at night while some would suggest otherwise. Sleep patterns are
not disturbed if you are not hitting the hay right after your workout according
to studies. Try to work out 2 hours before your bedtime.
Bottom line is that time is not an issues as long you have
the energy from food, that is required to do an intense workout.
