Alia Bhatt is one of the many actresses who used to be chubby before coming into Bollywood. If you have seen her pictures, she used to be a chubby girl. A girl with a 5’1 height and a weight of 68kgs. 


When she was offered the film “Student of the year”, she went on a strict diet plan and regular workout routine. She lost around 16kgs within a time period of 3 months.

Alia Bhatt’s Workout Routine


She maintains her figure by opting for a healthy lifestyle. After all, a healthy lifestyle is the key to a healthy body and a healthy mind.

She workouts with a gap of a day. She has opted for cardio exercises. These include running on a treadmill, lat pull downs, push-ups, dumbbell raises, push downs, bicep curls, back extensions, reverse crunches, bicycle crunch and squats.

Water Intake



You must have noticed till now that all celebrities with glowing skins have a higher intake of water. Same is the case with Alia Bhatt. She drinks plenty of water. 

Alia’s Diet


Coming to her diet routine. She has no junk food intake in her diet plan. She has restricted amounts of oil.

Her breakfast includes a cup of tea with sandwiches.

She has fruits as mid-day snack.

During lunchtime, she has chapatti with daal (pulse) and some vegetables. Mind it, no butter.

As for evening snack, she takes cups of tea/coffee accompanied with idli and sambar.

For dinner, either she goes with a chapatti and vegetables or a bowl of daal and a chicken breast.


Note that she takes her tea/coffee without sugar. Worth mentioning is that she loves indulging in kheer.

Another important thing for all those who sleep right after having their dinner. Alia doesn’t sleep right away, instead eats her dinner 2 hours before hitting the bed.

A word of advice


There is nothing complicated in the diet or her workout routine. The only thing that works is her determination and her consistency. Anyone can do it. You can do it.
