Mindful Eating
Today’s blog is short with some really
help tips on how to be mindful of what you are putting in your body. Quantity
and quality holds sheer importance for a healthy body and mind. Make sure you
follow these steps every day and at every meal.
1 Cook your own food/Prepare your food
2 Your meal should fit in to one plate. No extra
plate. No upsizing. Nothing
3 Sit at a table
4 Slowing eat and chew thoroughly
5 There should be no multitasking is
allowed. This include no television and no gadgets of any sorts.
6 Slow eating will signal your brain
when you feel full. Don’t
ignore your brain. Stop eating when your brain sends you the message of
satiety.
7 When you are about to snack. Remember
you’re bored not hungry.
8 Have your meal with people you love.
9 Be thankful for the meal in front of you
10 All your sensory senses must be working. Focus on
food’s appearance, taste, smell and lastly texture.
